Emily Morris is the Founder & CEO of Emrgy Inc., an energy technology company disrupting distributed power generation with modular hydropower systems. Since founding Emrgy in 2014, she has raised over $30 million, led the first distributed hydropower array in the U.S., and expanded internationally with installations in New Zealand. Under her leadership, Emrgy has secured exclusive renewable energy development rights across 9,000 miles of U.S. water infrastructure.
Emily has served as Commercial Leader on over $5 million in U.S. Department of Energy awards and is named on nine patents. Recognized as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s “Top 30 Under 30,” she has guided Emrgy through multiple startup accelerators and industry accolades. A Vanderbilt graduate in Human and Organizational Development and Corporate Strategy, Emily lives in Atlanta with her husband and two young children.
