Ashley Wynne, Ph.D. is a technical engineering manager over a team of product development engineers. She has worked for Sealed Air Corporation for 11 years. Ashley’s 13+ years in industry has primarily focused on polymers and packaging in new product development. Her work has US Patents granted and peer reviewed publications in technical journals. She is a chemical engineer, working mom, and advocate for women in the sciences and retaining women at all career stages.
Ashley serves SWE as a member of the Nominating Directorate and the Editorial Working Group. She is the Western Carolina section past president and FY24 and FY25 co-lead of the HeForSWE AG. She is actively engaged in the Society of Plastics Engineers and with Mississippi State University as an advisory board member for the ChE department and an Alumni Association Chapter President. She is a contributing author of "Beyond the Pipeline", published in August 2025.
