Olivia D'Souza is a second-year Masters student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at UW-Madison with a research focus in communication systems and wireless networks. Olivia is currently working on utilizing current satellite infrastructure for atmospheric modeling and exploring new methods to prevent satellite interference in radio astronomy. She has experience in the satellite and aerospace engineering industry through her internships and will be beginning a full-time position in industry at the end of this school-year. Outside of research and engineering work, Olivia can usually be found cooking meals from around the world, training for an upcoming marathon, or reading the latest in romance or a cozy mystery.
