Gayatri Pahapale is a Module Development Engineer at Intel Corporation. A Chemical Engineer by training, Gayatri obtained her PhD at Johns Hopkins University, where her work focused on developing novel microdevices for tissue engineering and drug delivery. In her current role at Intel Corporation with the photolithography and patterning development group, Gayatri is enabling the miniaturization of cutting-edge semiconductor chips, enhancing chip capacity, and improving performance.
Gayatri has been with SWE since 2021 and is involved in outreach and mentorship with students to excite them about STEM fields. She has been a member of the SWENext Transition workgroup and now serves as PDG Committee Chair.
In her free time, Gayatri enjoys hiking in the mountains and reading science/fiction.
