Marina Ferran is a Principal Technologist at HP, specializing in the development of authentication solutions for the HP products, spanning from consumer to industrial segments. Since February 2021, she has been at the forefront of advancing security technologies, particularly in the realm of hardware security. Her role involves a comprehensive system view to understand business problems and the technical prowess to define effective solutions.

With a deep foundation in R&D, Marina has contributed to the development of breakthought technologies and disruptive products in areas of 3D printing and Large Format Printing. She holds a B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

Driven by a passion for technical excellence and the critical role of security in today’s connected world, Marina is committed to demystifying authentication and device trust. She brings clarity to complexity, connecting technical innovation with real-world impact.
