Lu Athnos is a Regional Sales Manager at ABB with nearly 30 years of experience in the Pulp & Paper Industry. She began her career in technical roles - including Systems Engineer, Regional Technical Advisor and Manager of the QCS Technical Specialists Team - where she helped customers achieve measurable performance gains. Transitioning into sales, Lu discovered her passion for combining engineering expertise with strategic leadership to drive customer success and business growth. She now leads initiatives that integrate advanced technologies with customer-focused solutions, delivering impactful results.

Lu holds dual Master’s Degrees from North Carolina State University: one in Paper Science and Engi-neering, and another in Business Administration. She actively advocates for women in STEM, serv-ing on TAPPI’s Women in Industry and Process Control Division committees. Her leadership extends beyond her role, championing visibility, credibility, and collaboration across the industry.
