Jessica Teppo has been with 3M for four years, serving as both a Lab Technician and a Quality Analyst. She joined the company mid-career, having earned a degree in Marine Biology but gaining experience in laboratory work after college. Jessica has worked in factories and coatings plants as a Quality Supervisor, where she was one of only a few women in the entire company. This experience has provided her with a unique perspective on advancing within a company as a woman and a leader, while navigating coworkers' personalities, biases, as well as microaggressions and harassment. She has long been interested in this topic and has been involved in previous panels and discussions. Notably, she was a co-speaker to a full room of over 450 attendees at WE23.
