Pan Dimitroulis received his BSc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Thessaly in Greece in 2018. In 2021, he graduated with a PhD from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he was the recipient of the Outstanding Graduate Research Award.
Pan previously worked in the agricultural industry, developing a variety of image processing applications for the analysis of seeds, plants, and fields through aerial footage. In 2024, he joined Wabtec Corporation as a Machine Vision Automation Engineer. His mission is to leverage the synergy of Computer Vision and AI in edge devices to make railroad maintenance equipment safer, smarter, and more efficient.
