Ashley Sillin is a Software Engineering Program Manager at Medtronic in Mounds View, MN. In this role, she leads the safety and reliability teams for multiple software programs within Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio.
Ashley co-leads the Twin Cities branch of Medtronic SWEnet, organizing dozens of events to expose over 1,000 Twin Cities youth to STEM. In her role, she kickstarted a partnership between Medtronic SWEnet and FIRST Robotics to support female-identifying students through the challenges of imposter syndrome and gender bias.
Outside of work, Ashley is a programming mentor for FIRST Robotics Team 2052 KnightKrawler, based in New Brighton, MN. In 2025, her team competed in the playoffs at the FRC World Championship and won the Minnesota State Championship.
Ashley graduated from Marquette University in 2018 and the University of St. Thomas in 2021 with her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and master’s degree in program management, respectively.
