Aby Combs is Granite’s Culture & Performance Manager. Starting her career in the hotel industry, she has worked in various leadership roles throughout California for 10+ years. In 2020, six weeks prior to the COVID pandemic, she made a career pivot to Human Resources and joined Granite Construction. She brings a different perspective and insight into people through her work experiences. In her role, she managers the company’s Employee Community, external partnerships, and implementing the engagement portfolio including an internal radio show, Granite Radio!

A mom to two little ones, she has her hands full! She lives in Santa Cruz, CA with her family and is often found walking by the beach, playing at the park, or enjoying the local live music. Aby Combs graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
