Dr. Adaline Buerck is an Assistant Professor of Environmental & Civil Engineering and the Director of The Cecil Day Family Center for International Groundwater Innovation at Mercer University in Macon, GA. Dr. Buerck holds a doctorate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida, Tampa. Throughout her time as a graduate student and now as a professor, Dr. Buerck has been involved with engineering education, outreach, and evaluation and has published multiple studies on this topic with the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Dr. Buerck is the faculty advisor for Mercer University’s Student Chapter of American Water Works Association (AWWA) and has led outreach initiatives at local middle schools for World Water Day through this work. Dr. Buerck is also the co-director of the SWEET (Society of Women Engineers: Engineers in Training) Outreach Program held at Mercer University.
