Caitlin Lien is an AI Engineer with three years of experience at Chevron and currently works on the Enterprise AI Team, where she develops enterprise-scale AI solutions using technologies such as large language models (LLMs) and AI agents. She began her journey at Chevron as a data science intern, working on anomaly detection projects and time series models. After earning a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, she joined Chevron full-time. Her work spans from optimizing chemical strategies and fuels research to building agentic chatbots, making her a key contributor in Chevron’s push towards artificial intelligence.
