Kacie is a Software Engineer based in the greater D.C. area. She earned a BSE in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University after which she joined a small aerospace firm as a software engineer. With over 10 years of experience working R&D satellite programs in a small company atmosphere, Kacie has contributed to all stages of a program lifecycle requiring collaboration with engineers in other departments from electrical to mechanical to I&T. She believes that the experimental nature of her work combined with her exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines gives her a unique perspective to share. She hopes that her personal anecdotes will demonstrate how common and even beneficial failure can be to personal and professional growth and will help others to better handle their own failures.
