Christina Bottomley joined CSX in 2014 and now oversees industrial development, short lines, joint facilities, passenger operations, and real estate. Ms. Bottomley’s responsibilities include identifying new customer growth opportunities, developing new rail-served customer locations, facilitating relationships and contracts with short line and passenger partners, and acquiring, selling, and leasing property. Previously, Ms. Bottomley oversaw capital planning for CSX and has also held various roles in Accounting and Internal Audit.
Ms. Bottomley brings over twenty years of transaction, real estate, and finance experience to CSX after serving as the Chief Accounting Officer for Forward Air in her prior role. She started her career in consulting at PwC and KPMG before going into the industry at Regency Centers.
Ms. Bottomley received an undergraduate and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida. She is a licensed CPA and resides in Jacksonville with her husband, two children, and two dogs.
