Isabella Posey is a Biomedical Engineering Ph.D. student at Tulane University in the Tissue Engineering and Microphysiological Systems (TEMPS) lab. She holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a M.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University. After completing her Master’s degree, Isabella worked for two years in life sciences and healthcare consulting, contributing to projects ranging from drug access strategy to specialty pharmacy network design. Motivated by a desire to leverage her industry experience to develop more accessible and inclusive biomedical innovations, she decided to pursue a Ph.D. Isabella is grateful for the impact the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) has had on her professional journey. She was honored to serve as Co-President of the graduate division of SWE during her Master’s program.
