Leann Vaive is an experienced engineer and Master Black Belt with technical expertise in advanced controls, machine learning, and Six Sigma. She earned her Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering (2018) and her Master's in Electrical Engineering (2021) from Purdue University. In 2018, Leann started her 7-year career at Whirlpool in the WERLD program, gaining diverse technical experience across appliance categories.
In her current role as a System Integration Manager, Leann leads a new product innovation for the dishwasher portfolio. Prior to this, Leann led advanced controls initiatives on the Model-Based Design team.
Since 2022, Leann has supported the organization as a Master Black Belt, teaching classes, mentoring others, and solving problems. She also serves as the US OpEx 6Sigma Coordinator, managing the strategy and continuous improvement efforts for the US program. Her unique blend of technical depth, leadership, and expertise in Six Sigma enables her to consistently drive change and innovation.
