Gina O’Connell graduated from the Ohio State University with a BS in Industrial Engineering. After a short stint in manufacturing focused on continuous improvement she started at Mintel in 2005. She has had many roles at Mintel leveraging her engineering skills to drive digital and data transformations resulting in significant modernization to the business. In her most recent role she oversees Mintel’s data, technology and product teams. The teams are focused on taking advantage of advancements in tech to drive new and unique value for clients. In additional to her direct responsibilities, she also co-sponsor Mintel’s women’s ERG - Female Empowerment at Mintel (FEM).
