Mela Jaku

Mela Jaku is a Project Controls Professional with 18 years of experience in mega projects around the world including Motorways, Airports, Railways, Fiber roll and most recently LNG plants.
Mela’s academical background is not one you would traditionally expect to find in the construction and engineering industry. She has studied foreign languages by the university of Tirana, Albania, and speaks 5 languages. She started in the construction industry by chance immediately after university and fell in love with the industry and has not changed career since. She is passionate about project controls, data management and ensuring that the best and most informed decisions are made for her projects.
In addition to her home country, Mela has worked in two airport projects in the middle east, Qatar 2022 FIFA World cup, Rail and Fiber projects across the UK, and at present in LNG projects in Houston.
