Margaret Krueger recently graduated from the University of Minnesota, earning her degree in Biomedical Engineering. She has begun her career at Boston Scientific as a Clinical Specialist in Seattle, WA, where she supports the implantation of the Watchman™ cardiac device in the operating room. Watchman™ reduces stroke risk without the need for lifelong oral anticoagulation therapy.
During her time as a student, Margaret served as the Director of Professional Mentorship for SWE-UMN, Chair of Membership Development for the Engineering World Health club, a member of the University’s Sexual Misconduct Prevention Program Committee, and an RA supporting first year Women in Science and Engineering. She also wrote a thesis regarding lactation's influence on pregnancy-related cardiac remodeling, which is awaiting academic publication.
Outside of work, Margaret plays piano and flute in community orchestras, hunts for treasures on Facebook Marketplace, and can often be found thrifting with a matcha in hand.
