Aleeza Huraira

Aleeza Huraira is a Computer Engineering student at San Jose State University (SJSU) and the FY25 President of SJSU’s SWE section. She has been actively involved in SWE since her freshman year, starting as a general member before serving as Treasurer and later President. Professionally, Aleeza has gained diverse experience across computer engineering, having worked as a Hardware Engineering Intern at HP, Software Engineering Intern at Uber, Applications Intern at Advantest, and a Research Intern on campus. In addition, she has served as a Peer Advisor for the MESA Engineering Program, mentoring students and fostering a supportive community. Aleeza is passionate about increasing diversity in engineering while continuously expanding her technical expertise. She is committed to bridging gaps in representation and creating inclusive spaces for future engineers.
