Beth Born is an engineer on the Frito Lay North America Tortilla Chip Research & Development team, where she uses her engineering expertise to deliver new product innovations and renovations to build the tortilla chip portfolio of PepsiCo’s permissible snacking business. Prior to this role, she worked on a global process technology team, researching long-term process technology applications for baked snacks. She has been with PepsiCo full-time for 3 years, starting as an intern in the summer of 2021 and joining the company full-time after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Business in 2022. At PepsiCo, Beth leads communications for the PepsiCo Plano SWE Chapter and is involved in several other Org Health and Networking groups. Outside of work, Beth enjoys traveling, running, and she’s also a certified barre instructor in the DFW metroplex!
