Cristina Camocardi is a Mechanical Design Engineer on the New Product Development team at Wabtec. In this role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining designs for mechanical systems on machines that maintain railroads.
Cristina began her career as a Design Engineer at E-One, a leading firetruck manufacturer. She moved to the Oil & Gas industry, working at Allrig as a Design Engineer, Project Manager, and later the Global Engineering Manager – designing elevating systems and other equipment for offshore jack-up rigs. She continued her career at Scot Forge as the Aircraft Industry Specialist, providing open die forging solutions for customers in the aerospace industry. She focused on forged components for military aircraft, vehicles, air armament, national labs, and nuclear storage.
Cristina received her B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2011 and her M.B.A. from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, in 2018.
