Jennifer Valdez has worked at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for over 16 years, with extensive experience in water recycling and water rights. In 2024, she was appointed to the Crescenta Valley Water District Board of Directors and was subsequently elected in the November 2024 election. She brings her expertise in engineering and governance to the local community. Jennifer holds a BS and MS in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University. She created LADWP’s award-winning Recycled Water K-12 Outreach Program. Jennifer is also a proud single mother to her son, Noah.
