Meagan Dobratz is a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at Emerson in Shakopee, MN, where she has worked for the past 12 years. She began her career supporting existing temperature measurement products before transitioning to new product development projects. Over time, Meagan discovered her passion for managing systems and processes, now leading projects focused on process improvement and system implementation. She is an active member of Emerson’s university recruiting team, Women’s Impact Network, and several other employee resource groups. Meagan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing sports, reading, crafting, and spending time with her husband, two young daughters, family and friends.
