Sydney Holcomb is currently a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Emerson in Shakopee, MN, where she has worked for the past 6 years. In her role, she has focused on developing new products and features to existing products, conducting technology studies to investigate new areas of interest, and sustaining the mechanical design of many of the pressure and temperature transmitters that Emerson’s Rosemount brand sells. Previous to this role, she started her career as a Manufacturing Engineer on the Coplanar Pressure Sensor production line at Emerson. In addition to her profession, Sydney is currently the Chapter Chair for Emerson’s Women’s Impact Network – Twin Cities Chapter. Sydney graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities with a Bachelor of Materials Science & Engineering. Outside of work, she enjoys running, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.
