Leonora Meroth is a Civil Engineering Associate with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in May 2020, she joined LADWP’s Water Distribution Division (WDD) District Engineering group, where she supported LADWP construction crews with water mainline and service installations and replacements. In May 2024, Leonora transitioned to the WDD Emergency Preparedness and Response Team, where she works to enhance emergency response plans, document incidents, and organize emergency exercises. In addition to her engineering role, Leonora serves as the Secretary for LADWP’s Society of Women Engineers (LADWP-SWE) and the VP of Chapter Development for LADWP's Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (LADWP-SHPE).
