Ms. McMullen has been working in the mining industry for more than 35 years. Her experience includes working for various mining companies with a short stint in consulting. Operational experience include underground and open pit operations, construction phases and processing. Commodity experience includes copper, gold, nickel, aluminium, cobalt, molybdenum, iron ore, coal, uranium and bauxite. She has also worked in project phases, permitting new mines and expansions of existing mines, and closure of mines. Her main experience is environmental however she has worked in the health & safety area as well as community relations. Spectrum of work has covered geographically diverse environments and cultures including Australasia, North and South America and Europe. (Working at or for 56 operations in 14 countries). She is currently Manager of the corporate environmental audit program but will be starting a new role in Indonesia in early 2026 working at Freeport’s PTFI Grasberg Mine.
