Monica Ridgeway is the Manager of the 24/7 Liaison Engineering Team at Delta Air Lines. Her team plays a critical role in supporting Delta’s global operations by collaborating with maintenance and inspection teams to ensure aircraft are repaired safely and efficiently—anywhere in the world, at any time. They specialize in designing structural repairs, performing static analysis to ensure regulatory compliance, and upholding the highest standards of passenger safety.
Monica began her career in the military as an avionics technician, later earning her Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. She spent several years as a maintenance technician before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. She served as a lead stress engineer prior to joining Delta. Monica has advance in her Engineering career by demonstrating a commitment to excellence and continuous growth. Her leadership philosophy is rooted in a “people first” approach, guiding and supporting others.
