Rahini Giridharan is a third-year Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Minnesota, with minors in Neuroscience and Spanish that deepen her interdisciplinary approach. She conducts research in pancreatic cancer and drug development, and previously worked at Fermilab, exploring technologies at the intersection of physics and biology. On campus, she serves as Vice President of External Relations for Alpha Sigma Kappa – Women in Technical Studies, works as a Campus Ambassador, and has taught undergraduate courses in Food Science and Statistics.
Rahini is also a nationally awarded Bharatanatyam dancer with numerous accolades. Her commitment to both technical advancement and creative expression reflects a well-rounded leadership style. As an active member of the Society of Women Engineers, she supports mentorship and outreach programs that empower future innovators. Rahini brings a Gen Z perspective to professional spaces and is passionate about bridging generational and disciplinary divides in today’s evolving workplace.
