Rita Munarwi

Rita Munarwi is a seasoned technology leader with over 20 years of global experience in semiconductor engineering across Singapore, Germany, and the United States. Currently serves as Director Technical Program Manager at Microsoft, she enables innovation by bridging software and hardware at the silicon level to support high-performance cloud computing systems. Her career began in lithography and evolved through pre-FAB and post-FAB roles at GlobalFoundries, where she led transformative initiatives in tapeout management, technology transfer, and lean six-sigma. Her contributions earned her the CEO Award and multiple Spotlight Awards for excellence and cross-functional impact.

Rita also serves as President of the SWE Columbia River Section and Chair of Women at Microsoft Oregon, championing mentorship and inclusive engineering communities. She is the Founder of Unspoken Wisdoms, home to her micro-podcast and book Fun Facts for Success: Tech Edition. Her leadership philosophy centers on leading from within and empowering beyond.
