S Lawanya, 2020 Honors graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from National University of Singapore (NUS) undertaking NUS MSc (Smart Industries and Digital Transformation), was senior Lithography process engineer for 4 years before becoming senior analyst in Digital Manufacturing in GlobalFoundries. She holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is part of GF Singapore’s leadership development program (GEM).

Recognizing her leadership skills, Lawanya was awarded 2024 SEMI SEA Emerging Young Leader Award, was a distinguished speaker at 2023 SSIA Women’s forum and received GlobalFoundries’ Women’s recognition award for her DEIB contributions. Her STEM journey was featured in Singapore’s newspaper to inspire young women.

Alongside mentoring in Singapore Semiconductor Industry Association’s student outreach initiative, Lawanya is a core member of Singapore GlobalWomen. GlobalWomen is an employee resource group, which creates inclusive environments for women in GF. She chaired GF Singapore’s inaugural Women’s Conference 2024 and headed GEM’s outreach committee.
