Emily Amaro Bergeron is a seasoned engineering leader with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans, where she was among the few women in her graduating class. Over the course of her career, she has held both technical and leadership positions in the oil and gas industry, working with Chevron, Valero, Phillips 66, and since 2019, PBF Energy. Emily currently serves as the Operations Manager at PBF’s Toledo Refining Company, where she is responsible for overseeing safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operations across the facility.
Personal Background A first-generation Cuban American, Emily was born and raised in the greater New Orleans area. She and her husband—who also works at PBF Energy as Manager, Center of Procurement Excellence —are proud parents of two daughters, both of whom have followed in her footsteps as engineers: one in Chemical Engineering and the other in Mechanical Engineering.
