Melissa Venedicto is a Supplier Engineer at Boston Scientific who holds a master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Florida International University—becoming both the first engineer and the first master’s degree holder in her family. As an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship awardee, she has presented at conferences, worked on NASA grants, published in journals, and holds a patent in electronic materials. At Boston Scientific, she leads supplier engineering for display technologies within the Computers & Peripherals category of Capital Equipment, cultivating partnerships and translating complex technical requirements into solutions. A dedicated mentor, Melissa bridges academia and industry to guide emerging engineers. She advocates for diversity and professional development as a leader in the SWE Minnesota Professionals chapter, SWE Membership Engagement Committee, and as a pillar member of Boston Scientific’s Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Achievement (HOLA). In her free time, Venedicto loves to explore and review unique coffee shops.
