The process for obtaining your professional engineer (PE) license can be daunting. Through this presentation, I will inspire and educate others to move forward on the path of obtaining a PE license. During this session I will introduce what a PE license is, present the steps for becoming a PE, and identify the requirements for maintaining a PE license throughout one’s career. As part of the session, I will also share lessons learned and recommendations for effectively studying for the PE exam while being a full-time engineer. This session is intended to be relevant across a variety of industries and all levels of tenure, including students, new grads, and experienced engineers.
