Pr Human Factors/Systems Engineer Collins Aerospace Plano, Texas, United States
Wherever there is a system, there are people to use it. But how do we ensure systems development includes humans, not just hardware and software? Enter the Human Readiness Level (HRL) Scale (ANSI/HFES 400-2021). The HRL scale, a nine-level scale, ensures human characteristics, capabilities, and limitations are considered and incorporated during technology development to better suit the technology to human needs. In this session, you will get an introduction to the HRL scale, recognize how it can help incorporate users through the system lifecycle, and why it can lead to better, more effective technology and systems.
Learning Objectives:
Define the Human Readiness Levels (HRL) scale.
Recognize HRL need for incorporating users through system lifecycle.
